Nissan Navara D40 – Glasshouse Mountains May 2012
We bought our Nissan Navara D40 with 500km on the clock on 5th April, 2012.. 2012 Spanish built model. We went away for Easter and had our Aussie Swag Camper up and down 4 nights. This was the first time we had been away with our camper, recently purchased from a lovely family in Fernvale. The Aussie Camper is fabulous – only takes 10 minutes to fold out and open a few windows, put in a few pegs and you are all set. The top is the floor.
In May, friends of ours Chris & Emma invited us to go four wheel driving with them to Glasshouse Mountains so off we went. We took Linda’s parents with us and we all had a great day.
Parked and going nowhere!
Chris came to David’s rescue and managed to get bogged below in what looked like a puddle. So they ended up towing each other out of trouble. What’s a day out four wheeling without getting stuck!
We drove up to the Glasshouse Mountains after a couple of hours driving around the tracks and the view was awesome – a lovely clear day. By this time we were getting hungry and as all the tables were full at the lookout we got back onto the tracks and found a lovely stop to have our picnic. A great day was had by all. We have been back again with Chris and Emma and some of their friends and will do another post on this.
