What is a needle roller bearing?
Needle roller bearings are a unique type of roller bearing that uses long, thin cylindrical rollers resembling needles. They are typically at least four times longer in diameter compared to standard roller bearings.

Precision needle roller bearings are typically used in applications where a high load capacity is required, such as in heavy equipment.
A precision needle roller bearing has a one-piece, channel-shaped outer race of bearing quality steel, which has been heat-treated to provide maximum bearing capacity and life expectancy. In addition, a precision needle roller bearing assures optimum roller load distribution within the bearing construction.
Thrust needle roller bearings
Thrust needle roller bearings are compact and offer large load capacity and high limiting speed.
The two-piece enclosure consists of precision-pressed steel that guides the rollers accurately. The spherical outer ring and needle roller thrust bearing have tapered slots allowing high operating speeds.
